Our Emmett Cullen in Twilight, was seen Saturday on the island of St. Martin ... It's unclear whether or not Kellan Lutz and AnnaLynne McCord are officially dating. But this much is not up for debate: both look smokin in a bathing suit! The on-again-off-again couple appears to be on again, as they vacationed in St. Maarten together this weekend. They were accompanied by McCord's sister, Angel, who we cropped out below. For what reason? So fans could focus their eyes on the alluring bodies of the 90210 and Twilight Saga stars, respectively. Kellan has signed on for a couple of non-vampire roles in the near future: he'll soon shoot Love, Wedding, Marriage, which co-stars Mandy Moore, James Brolin and Jane Seymour. From there, it's on to War of the Gods, opposite Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto. In between, he'll do press for a little movie called Eclipse. Maybe you've heard of it... more

Philipsburg, the capital of the Dutch side Philipsburg, the capital of Dutch St. Maarten, fills a narrow stretch of land between Great Bay and the Great Salt Pond. Founded in 1763 by John Philips, a Scottish captain in the Dutch navy, it soon became a bustling center of international trade. Today it is as bustling as ever, with lively shopping streets, cafes, and hotels. Two main roads cut across the length of Philipsburg--Front Street and, yes, Back Street. Front Street, the main thoroughfare, is lined with duty-free shops offering everything from Italian leather goods and Japanese cameras to native crafts. Narrow alleyways lead in either direction to arcades and courtyards filled with flowers. Visitors will also find examples of traditional West Indian architecture, including characteristic pastel-colored houses with second-story verandas looking out over the street... more
Pinel, the magic of an Island in the Caribbean sea With lots of shallow waters, this paradise like sand point is protected from pounding surf. The water is calm and crystal clear, accompanied by beautiful beaches. Ideal for snorkeling for its coral reefs (there is a snorkel trail, too!), and also for sunbathing, as the main beach stays sun-drenched until the end of the day! When you arrive on Pinel Island you will see a large sand spit. Behind that a stand of Coconut palm trees, and then a small hill that makes up this picture perfect paradise. There are no cars, no roads, (and of course no ATM!), however you will find three beach bars/ restaurants, one is run by a Frenchman, the other is a local tiki-hut style place serving BBQ food, seafood and grilled fresh lobster as well. The third "Up On The Key" is new, see Some people have been known to camp here overnight... more
Caribbean Kitesurf History The Chinese are credited with using kites for propulsion in the 13th century. In the 1800s George Pocock used kites of increased size to propel carts on land and ships on the water, using a 4-line control system - the same system in common use today. Both carts and boats were able to turn and sail upwind. The kites could be flown for sustained periods. The intention was to establish kitepower as an alternative to horsepower, partly to avoid the hated "horse tax" that was levied at that time. In 1903, aviation pioneer Samuel Cody developed "man-lifting kites" and succeeded in crossing the English channel in a small collapsible canvas boat powered by a kite In the late 1970s the development of Kevlar then Spectra flying lines and more controllable kites with improved efficiency contributed to practical kite traction... more
Queen Mary 2 in visit with Saint Martin's Concept and construction The vision of a 21st century ocean liner bigger than any that had gone before started as the brainchild of Carnival CEO Micky Arison, who has stated that his company bought Cunard to create Queen Mary 2, not vice versa. Cunard completed a design for a new class of 84,000-ton, 2,000-passenger liners on 8 June 1998, but immediately revised them upon comparing those specifications with Carnival Cruise Lines' 100,000-ton Destiny-class cruise ships and Royal Caribbean's 137,200-ton Voyager of the Seas. Six months later, on 10 December, Cunard released details of Project Queen Mary, the project to develop a liner that would complement Queen Elizabeth 2. Harland and Wolff of Northern Ireland, Aker Kværner of Norway, Fincantieri of Italy, Meyer Werft of Germany, and Chantiers de l'Atlantique of France were invited to bid on the project... more
